Chikankari is a traditional Indian embroidery style originating in Lucknow known for its intricate threadwork on fine fabric. The settee graced the front hall of our home in India and brought us good luck and joy. It is such a unique piece that everywhere we have lived since then it has started conversations leading to new friendships. The bright color married to the historical rosewood piece provides a delightful contrast that brings joy to the eye. See less
